Since 1856 each January 14 comes in stately procession from the church of Santa Rosa located 8 miles from Barquisimeto the blessed image of the Divina Pastora, patron of the "Twilight Town" and larenses in a long haul with the first stop on the Santa Iglesia Catedral visiting more than sixty temples located in the state capital.
